Help from your town and keep the furniture free to those in need
Most of what we do involves getting your donated used goods right to the neediest clients in our local area. Many furniture banks in the USA charge clients for the furniture. It is expensive to give away free things. Support a 13,000 sq ft warehouse and our small staff is a challenge every year. You can from you home, school or job.
Please consider having a fundraiser and making a tax deductible donation. Every dollar you donate helps us to deliver more than $4 worth of goods. We are serving the clients of more than 70 homeless shelters and agencies so your dollar is helping many other agencies as well as the clients themselves.
Receive Service Hours for projects
Do you need a tax receipt? Copy of our 501C3? Form 990 or other documents? Please contact us. They are public information and we are happy to provide them.
1. Collect cell phones: you ship them out from your school, office or place of worship. They send us the check. Get community service hours too! Click on the link below for more information.
2. Collect Books We welcome your books right at our warehouse in our collection bin. It is accessible 24/7 right outside our door at 1 A Foundry Street, our warehouse. Look for the big grey dumpster with the Got Books sign on it.
- Hold a book collection at your site. We will come get them.
- Library having a book sale? We would love to come take the leftovers.
- Let us put a book dumpster in your parking lot. Proceeds go to the Wish Project and you and your friends can donate locally.

3. Host a benefit yard sale, backpack brunch, baby shower for newborn kits, birthday party for birthday kids, talent show, New Years Baby diaper party, makeup party or other event. Whatever suits your interest and ability can help us to raise money, collect goods, or assemble kits for service projects. We are happy to supply brochures, signs, fliers, tax receipts or other promotional goods. Let us know before hand and we will promote in our weekly E-newsletter too.
