Urgent need from the warehouse – we are extremely low on women’s long sleeve tops, our bins are nearly empty! Every size needed from Small – 4X welcome. Linda is pictured next to one of our almost empty bins of clothes. We are providing 50-80 clients a week with clothing at this time and as soon as the clothing donations come in they are going out with the next client. If you can help out with even one long sleeve shirt we would be grateful. If you have any of these items to donate and can drop off at the warehouse please email donategoods@thewishproject.org and Grace will get back to you Tuesday-Saturday 9-3pm to schedule a day and time for drop off. Thank you for helping us serve our mission and our clients.
Geri and Mel are two of our wonderful weekly volunteers. Here they are assembling cleaning kits to go out to that days clients. Because of the pandemic we are currently giving out over 100 cleaning kits a month. Right now we are in need of laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap and disinfecting cleaner. If you have any of these items to donate and can drop off at the warehouse please email donategoods@thewishproject.org and Grace will get back to you Tuesday-Saturday 9-3pm to schedule a day and time for drop off. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can purchase our current needs and ship direct to us https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427… . Thank you for helping us serve our mission and our clients.
Thank you to Cindy Boynton and Axis Communications for the wonderful donation of Halloween Bags she delivered this week. They went out to our partner agencies that day. We are grateful to our corporate partners who continue to support us with their outreach work.
One mom of twin girls picked up high chairs, diapers, baby wipes, formula and birthday bags for her 1 year old twins. All basic items for our already struggling families during these difficult times. We are grateful for our generous donors that make it possible for us to have these necessary items for those in need in Merrimack Valley. Right now we are in need of Similac Pro Advance formula, full size high chairs, safety gates, play mats, pack and play sheets. Thank you for helping us serve our youngest clients.
Meet David Yutzy, our IT guy, website designer, offsite volunteer and Lori’s husband. Working for The Wish Project tends to be a family affair. Ask Charlie how he came to work here. David has once again redesigned our website and we think it looks great. Now you can fill out a volunteer application, sign up for our weekly email newsletter and adopt a family for our Magic of Christmas project, all on the website. You can follow the links to our other social media pages, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, look through our blog posts or make a donation. Take a look around.
Thanks David!
Thank you to teen donor Emmy Beauvais, a junior at Lawrence Academy. Emmy held a collection drive and donated over 100 body washes today. We are grateful that so many schools stress helping their community as a part of their curriculum. Reaching out to help others makes us all stronger. Thanks, Emmy, your generosity will be appreciated by many families in Merrimack Valley.
Urgent baby need – most of our clients with babies are requesting Similac Pro-Advance powdered formula and Grace said we are almost out at the warehouse. If you have any of these items to donate and can drop off at the warehouse please email donategoods@thewishproject.org and Grace will get back to you Tuesday-Saturday 9-3pm to schedule a day and time for drop off. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can purchase this and our current needs and ship direct to us https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427… . Urgent need from the warehouse – Girls fall/winter clothing desperately needed. The client clothing bins are nearly empty. We need girls long sleeve shirts from Size 2T-16 in order to fill the client requests we already have. If you have any of these items to donate and can drop off at the warehouse please email donategoods@thewishproject.org and Grace will get back to you Tuesday-Saturday 9-3pm to schedule a day and time for drop off. Thank you for sharing with friends, family, neighbors and anyone that might have some girls clothes to share.
Sawan from Department of Children and Families picked up backpacks today to go out to their clients. We are grateful that even during a pandemic we have been able to give out over 2,400 backpacks to children in need in Greater Lowell and Merrimack Valley thanks to our generous donors.
