KB Toy Train donation

Thank you to Kaitlyn Brennan for her KB Toy Train donation dropped off yesterday. She launched the event two weeks ago “Fill the KB Toy Train for the Magic of Christmas,” and so many people joined from all over (SC – PA – NY – NH – ME – MA) and either shipped or joined the local and safe drop-off yesterday morning (even in the rain). From donors dropping off, their packages, Kaitlyn in the “toy train” enroute to Wish, to her helpers unloading at the warehouse! Such a wonderful undertaking of so many people to help our community this holiday season, and it all started with one person and one idea, thanks Kaitlyn, we know our clients will be very grateful!

Flir donates toys

Thank you to Rebecca and Joseph from FLIR Systems for the toys they collected for our Magic of Christmas project. We are so grateful to our corporate partners who are always stepping up to support our mission and our clients. It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at the warehouse today. Bags were coming in and agencies were picking up. So many people helping to put smiles on the faces of children and families in need in Merrimack Valley. The community of Greater Lowell are great neighbors! #magicofchristmas

Wonderful volunteers

Suzanne, Pam and Ann are three of our wonderful weekly volunteers. They spend their time sorting and organizing incoming donations, filling the client clothing bins and pulling client orders. We can’t imagine the warehouse without them. They keep the warehouse organized, full of laughter and keep the staff on their toes. They can also tell you exactly what we need for our clients. Today they would tell you we need Boys Coats in Sizes 6-18.

Teens serving the community

Thank you to students Rachel Nally and Jess Hayduk from Wilmington High School for their community service project of collecting winter clothing and blankets for our clients. The support of students in our community to help their neighbors in need is a wonderful example of kids helping kids. Great job Rachel and Jess!

Right now we need boys coats Size 6-18, play mats, baby safety cabinet latches and door knob covers for our young clients. Christmas is coming

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the warehouse. The gifts are pouring in before this Saturday’s donation deadline. The Torpey family delivered their gifts for the family they sponsored for Magic of Christmas. We are thrilled with the support we received this year in spite of the pandemic we find ourselves in this year.
