Collection Drive

Rajib from the Chelmsford Sai Center stopped by this morning to drop off much needed diapers, deodorant, and body wash. These were items that we were in fear of running out of this week. These amazing community partners reached out and asked how they could help. We are so thankful for their continued support.

A carload of BITS Bag items collected by Lawrence Academy student Emmy Beauvais was delivered to the warehouse today. Emmy has been working on supporting project after project at The Wish Project this year and we are so thankful for all her hard work. Dedicated volunteers, like Emmy, are what keeps our organization going.

If you are interested in volunteering on one of our offsite projects, please email tina@thewishproject.org

Friends living or working in the downtown Lowell area, when you’re stopping by the Purple Carrot Bread Co. for your breakfast or lunch, be sure to bring your donations for the wish projects Mother’s Day gift bag project! They were kind enough to place a collection basket inside to make donating SO easy.
(If you’re looking for lunch ideas, Tina highly recommends the vegan sandwich!)

Oliver and Kelly Lucy, from Chelmsford Integrated Preschool PTO, stopped by the warehouse today with a generous donation of new socks! The school held a collection and were able to donate 425 pairs of new women’s, men’s, and children’s socks. These will become part of our Mother’s Day gift bags and also go out to our regular clients picking up clothing orders. Thank you Oliver, Kelly, and all of the CHIPS families!

Thank you Lisa Tenczar and Dance Energy for the awesome donation of diaper bags and crib sheets. These were much needed items in the warehouse and will soon go out to new moms in our community.

Thank you Westford Academy student Sheil Patel for collecting items off of our greatest needs list. The clothing will go right out to clients, the bubbles, crayons, and coloring books will be used in BITS Bags, and the toiletries will go in our personal hygiene bags for clients. We are so thankful for all of your hard work gathering these much needed items.

If you are a student looking for volunteer hours, please email tina@thewishproject.org for more information.

BITS Bag donations are steadily coming in, but our bins of chalk, bubbles, balls, and coloring books are almost empty!

If you’re interested in donating items, or complete bags, you can drop off at the warehouse Tuesday-Saturday 9-2:45.
