Volunteers highlight diaper need

Carol and Nancy are two of todays fantastic Friday volunteers. They are staying 6ft apart to maintain adequate social distancing. They are holding diapers and baby wipes to highlight our need for Size 4 diapers and 4T/5T pull ups. If you have any of these items to donate you can drop off Tuesday-Friday 9-2:30pm and Saturday 9-12:30pm, no appointment necessary. If you are donating mattress sets please call first to make sure we have the space or email donategoods@thewishproject.org. The warehouse will be closed next Thursday-Tuesday for Thanksgiving. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can purchase our most needed items and ship direct to us https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427… . Thank you for helping us provide babies with diapers and pull ups they need!

Winter clothing needs

Carol is one of our fantastic Friday volunteers. Today she spent her time searching for men’s long sleeve t-shirts in Size M and L to fill the client clothing bins. We are desperately low on both men’s and women’s long sleeve shirts in Size M and L to give out to the many clients who are reaching out to us for warm winter clothing. We also need teen clothing Size 14-18, boy’s clothes Size 2T, coats for the whole family, diaper bags, toasters and laundry soap. If you have any of these items to spare we would be grateful to get them. Even one item would be one less client who leaves without something on their wish list.

We have just updated our clothing donation drop off process in order to streamline it. We have made the following changes – if you are donating only clothing or soft goods we are open to those donations Tuesday-Friday 9-2:30pm and Saturday 9-12:30pm, no appointment necessary. If you are donating other goods such as housewares and furniture we will continue to schedule those drop offs through our email donategoods@thewishproject.org. We are hopeful that this will make it easier for our donors to drop off their donations at their convenience. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can purchase our most needed items and ship direct to us https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427… . Thank you for helping us provide warm winter clothing to our clients in need!

Urgent need for beds

Urgent need from the warehouse – we are out of full and queen mattress sets, we just gave out our last sets to a client this morning. We desperately need more full and queen sets before the next client needs one. If you have any full or queen mattress sets to spare, without rips or stains, and can drop them off please email donategoods@thewishproject.org and Grace will get back to you Tuesday-Saturday 9-3pm to schedule a day and time for drop off. Thank you for sharing this with friends, family, neighbors and online groups that might have some mattress sets to spare for our clients that need them. There are few needs more basic than a bed to sleep on!
