BITS Bags Assembly

Our team of regular volunteers are hard at work assembling BITS Bags! These bags contain age appropriate toys for infants and toddlers that will provide stimulation to help development. They will be going out to many local families in need soon.

If you’re interested in donating BITS Bags, you can find more info here https://www.thewishproject.org/bits-bags/

If you’re interested in helping provide more light for these volunteers to see what they’re doing in our basement, you can find Lori’s wish here https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427?ref_=wl_share

It’s Time for BITS Bags!

It’s time for BITS Bags!!

These bags contain puzzles, bubbles, crayons, a coloring book, a beach ball, tub toys, a book, and a new baby toy and are given to local families in need with small children. These parents are often not able to provide their children with age appropriate toys for stimulation, and these children are at a greater risk for developmental delay. Our goal is to give these bags to every family needing them to help aid in their children’s development.
If you’re interested in getting involved with this project, email lori@thewishproject.org
If you’re interested in donating items, or complete bags, you can drop off at the warehouse Tuesday-Saturday 9-2:45.
If you prefer to shop online, check out our Amazon wish list for this project https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3D8J9PW9D8DI2?ref_=wl_share

Next Up, BITS Bags

The next project up in our calendar is BITS (Basic Items for Toddler Success) Bags. These bags are filled with educational and developmental toys for young children and will be given to local low income families with small children. These children are at greater risk for developmental delay and we strive to provide age appropriate items to prevent this.

Christmas magic

Thank you to the McCall & Crowley families for the Christmas families they sponsored and delivered today. Our partner agencies and their caseworkers will be so excited to get these gifts to their clients in time for Christmas. In a year filled with stress and worries this will bring a smile to these families on Christmas morning. Just to know that someone in their community cared enough to help them. #christmasspirit

Magic of Christmas Sponsors needed

Thank you to Angela Kulezsa from Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church for picking up their information about the families they are sponsoring for The Magic of Christmas. If you would like to help by sponsoring a family this year we have a new online application on our website at the following link https://www.thewishproject.org/christmas-sponsor/ . Simply fill it out and you will hear back from Lori about your family or child information. Those who would like to help but can not take a whole family can buy a gift from our Amazon wish list and know it will go to a child or adult in need. For anyone that would like to help us out and pick up an item or two and ship it directly to us you can follow the link https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3MD3TCCHHJTGL… . We do request that you include a gift receipt so we know who to thank for the items that are donated. If you have any other questions related to Magic of Christmas email Lori at lori@thewishproject.org, Santa’s helper at the warehouse! All gifts are due at the warehouse Saturday, December 5th so we have time to get them out to the agencies to be distributed. All Christmas gifts can be dropped off during our normal hours without an appointment.
