Clients recently stopped by the warehouse to pick up furniture, bedding, and a household kit. Your donations make it possible for those in need to have access to basic items. Right now we are in need of sauce pots, cookie sheets, mixing bowls, microwaves, hand sanitizer, baby gates, and high chairs. If you have any of these items and would like to donate, please drop items off during our donation hours Tuesday-Saturday from 9-2:45pm. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can shop from home and ship direct to us. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/D0WB109LX427…. Thank you for sharing with friends, family, neighbors and online groups that might have some basic items to spare.
The Wish Project celebrates the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
Patricia and Judy stopped by the warehouse yesterday to pick up 115 blankets and toiletries. They will be bringing these to the local homeless population, to help keep them clean, dry, and warm. Thank you to all of the donors who have provided these items. Your donations are helping out our most vulnerable neighbors.
Please join staff and volunteers in wishing Patty a very happy retirement. After 7 years of keeping everyone in line and on task, your daily presence will surely be missed. Thank you for all of your dedication to our mission. Enjoy all of your free time!
The night before Christmas and the warehouse is shut up tight for the holiday break but not before we gave out thousands of toys and gifts.
All of our sponsored families gifts have gone out to our participating agencies. Afterward we opened up the warehouse to the caseworkers from our partner agencies to give out all the extra toys as well. The last 2 days of Magic of Christmas is the most hectic and over 25 caseworkers came in and selected from hundreds of toys to give out to their other clients.
Once again we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our donors, supporters and community and as a result over 4,000 people in need received gifts this year!
The caseworkers and agencies have all been extremely appreciative and grateful for the support of their families in need.
Thank you to everyone that contributed to putting Magic in Christmas for a child or family this year – you will never know how much it means to them!
As always we thank you for helping in any way you can. We couldn’t do this without the support of so many people in our community.
Thank you for helping us put some magic in so many lives this holiday.
Thank you and Happy Holidays from The Wish Project Staff
